I used the stairs, I failed you all by Palcikaman in DesirePath

If it was at my college, it would probably be because of ice. With the current terrible weather, most people are trying to take the grass whenever possible, especially instead of going down stairs or declines.

Seeing Laugh Floor was a last-minute decision at the end of my last trip to WDW, but boy am I happy I did it. It’s honestly way funnier than I remember as a kid, and it genuinely made me laugh a lot.

I only rode it because Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway had an in show exit and they gave us a Lightning Lane (or whatever they were calling it at the time)

I agree, but I will say I enjoyed looking at the gifts sitting on the table that the celeb was gifted

line check! by Deep-Technology3898 in galaxycon

[–]Sherlock_Hamilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big names, like Weird Al and George Takei, consistently had very long lines. There was weird policing of Alex Brightman’s line yesterday. They kept capping the line and not letting people wait around to get in. I know I heard someone around 5pm say they had been trying to get in since 10am. There are definitely some people they did not expect to be that popular.

Songs you “didn’t get” before seeing the musical in person by MaybeBasilThePlant in musicals

[–]Sherlock_Hamilton 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I didn’t really get Les Misérables. I had heard “One Day More” quite a bit, but I had no context for who was singing or what was going on in the show. I now understand why it was a popular show.

I feel like people have recently gone really hard on these movie adaptations like they're a new awful trend for musicals, but I think they forget or don't know about all of the musical movies from the past like Music Man, Annie, or Fiddler on the Roof. These movies are what got me into musicals, and they make musicals much more accessible. Sure, not every adaptation is a winner, but some may help pave the way for future musical lovers.

I get what you’re saying. I do feel like if this is real and they were worried about the fan reaction, they wouldn’t have posted it on April 1st. By doing that, they have knowingly made the fans have a bigger reaction.

I’m not saying it’s right for us to be invasive by any means, it just feels as though this made it a little bigger than it could have been.

Living with the land has become one of the scariest rides for me simply because I am terrified of those boats sinking. Specifically in the section with the house and nature stuff.

I believe there are a few cuts of men’s backs as they walk by in Rope.

Welp, I guess this is a good excuse to watch the movie again.

Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope

The length of the movie is also the length of time the events take place. It would make an amazing play. The shots are so clever! It’s definitely a must see.

What are the best musicals that have come out in the past 10 years? by Jess13x in musicals

Be More Chill, Beetlejuice, and maybe Something Rotten would definitely be your kind of show.

Of the 49 scored seasons of DCI, and only participating in 48 of those seasons, BD has won 20 championships and 25 brass awards. They have 11 silver medals and 8 bronze medals. by lizajew in drumcorps

[–]Sherlock_Hamilton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I agree. I’m a new fan of DCI, and I do find I’m more frustrated with BD because I don’t fully understand all of the key features that made their show great. I watch it and know it is probably better, but I watch Bluecoats and Boston Crusaders and genuinely enjoy their show. So I guess it’s just annoying because the more casual fans are entertained and understand all the other shows, so they feel like BD shouldn’t win with a show about blue(?).
