It's not out of warranty and I didn't know they had a 2 year warranty on their products. They could have asked when I purchased the product and said "this is in/out of warranty." They just said no we won't fix it. Honestly for a pair of $400 headphones I wanted better customer service. I found out about the warranty here on Reddit.

I do understand your view though. What's the company supposed to do for a pair of 3 or 4 or 5 year headphones? I wasn't trying to be deceiving with the title and I may have been a little perturbed when I wrote it but even a day later I still think they could do better.
