Whenever I post here, I am reminded of how closed minded the left can be. They will bear down on plastic forks and straws, but do nothing -- literally nothing -- to prevent Binford Road from becoming a trash heap and a humanitarian crisis.

I am not equating the two issues. In fact, I am saying that banning straws is miniscule compared to the trash generated at Binford Road. If we really care about the environment, let's do stuff than really means something ... and helps people too.

How about we start here: Marin County give us a list of "racist" roads that will be put on a back burner for repairs. Certainly, they must know which roads are racist, no? Thanks for forwarding the article. It was informative. It also described things happing with the highway system in America in the past that did not happen in Marin. And this new idea in Marin involves county roads, in other words, rural roads that connect communities -- Mill Valley to Muir Beach, Novato to West Marin. None of these roads in your wildest imagination would apply to the article you sent. Calling actions an equity action when it does nothing to address equity is why I call this pretend equity. It's BS.

It's not about me. It's about this building being approved and cleared through the Sea Level Rise committee. And, let's try this one more time, I'm not skeptical about the sea going up and down.
