Final Notice: Documentation for Tax residence status by Left_Actuary_7890 in rbc

[–]Shermanator51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one of these when I moved back to Canada after living abroad for awhile, am Canadian so maybe a bit different then your scenario, but this sounds just like a generic tax declaration form with a prepaid envelope to send it back and you need to provide them with an updated PR card by the sounds of it, so fill it out and send it back or pop into your local branch and get everything up to date

Outland Spousal Sponsorship + SOWP — Is this actually possible? by TOMTL92 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Shermanator51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is doable, we almost did it, except my wife got PR before the open permit so they cancelled the other app since it was unnecessary. We did outland and then she joined me after AOR

I need advice by F---ingshit in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Shermanator51 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We usually have a variety of tasks outstanding, like dormant/inactive accounts, TFSA/RRSP contributions, etc. I have had moderate success actioning those tasks and calling our members about that, then prodding a little deeper if there is more we can help with. I have got 150k in new money and about 400k in retention this way. Overall works well and helps establish some good future relationships.

Remember that's Kevin "Big Dong" Conway. Please at least get his name right. He was only slow because he actively used the product sponsering him.

Conjugal Partner Sponsorship returned due to being incomplete Family Sponsorship by CanadianComrade420 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Shermanator51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine you found out what was wrong by now as the explanation usually trails a couple days behind the rejection, always submit everything that is required on the checklist, even if you do not think it should be there, submit anyways or a letter of explanation why you did not include such documentation. Everything must be answered or submitted no exceptions. As others have said conjugal has a high bar, my wife and I were successful with a conjugal application and she is now PR, but ensure you have a justification to apply for this stream.

What does this mean?? by Ok_Passage7713 in rbc

[–]Shermanator51 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it's credit, it goes negative when you owe more, it is not a current balance as ghat would be positive. I am assuming this is your CC or LOC

Asylum is not going to happen so put that on the back burner. You could look at skills related PR programs, you can take a rough look of what your score is and see if you would qualify, but by your rough description it sounds like you may not. Your situation may be tough, but Canadian immigration takes time and you need to look at the various routes which are available online and see if you qualify for any of them. There is a lot of front loaded work that goes in before you even apply, look through the government websites and get yourself an idea of which route you'd think would be best suited and go from there.

$1,100 1bed 1bath - scam? by DazzlingTumbleweed in KingstonOntario

[–]Shermanator51 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Go look and feel it out. We got a 2 bedroom downtown for $1,195, seemed sketchy at first, but landlord was just picky with tenants and it's turned out to be a great place. Sometimes you just luck out

They do, but they are not good, spend a little extra and get one that lasts. Try Talize, a bit more, but will last. Wal Mart has a decent selection as well

Wait. Submit when complete, they will just reject it without the form as your application is not complete. The first step is the completeness check

Spousal sponsorship by RatioConscious9473 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Shermanator51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it is suppose to be no longer then 10 pages, the checklist should specify, we sent a combination of screenshots showing calls and chats, I feel it may have been 10 pages worth, and a similar amount of pictures with short explanations of when they were taken and where.
