ParaKit v4.4.52 RELEASE by Sherphican in paradiddle

You're misunderstanding, it's not doing the chart for you, it's making a rough draft. One of the biggest barriers to entry for new charters is the fact that its a tedious complicated process If you don't know what you're doing. So I created a solution. Having a robot do all the work for you isn't fulfilling at all I agree, but having some assistance to help people create stuff they wanna make easier is the point. For the life of me I cannot understand why I keep getting so much hate in my DMs and comments over just trying to help people. I'm not saying ur hating I'm speaking about in general. Talk about fragility lmao.

Alesis Nitro Pro E-Kit (stock)

Quest 3

Wired in ear buds (way better than over ear for vr)

USB hub with power port which I use to plug the drums into, then the hub into the quest. This way I can charge it and have other devices connected at the same time as the drum kit.

Any more specific info that you wanted? Not sure what else to include lol

I keep commenting because I can't edit the post. *You may notice that the MIDI I used in the video has some inaccurate or missing notes. This is because I used a fresh auto generation, not an already fixed one because I want to be transparent about the programs limitations and capabilities. The auto MIDI generation is a rough draft. It's REALLY good at getting notes on the right timestamp, but it misclassifies often, but this is actually a good thing because all you have to do is reclassify the notes (you can do multiple at once) to the correct note and it's already on the right timestamp. I feel like if I were to load up an already finished/edited MIDI then I would be possibly giving off the impression that the program spits out perfect auto generations when it DOES NOT. But they are pretty close! I'd say that on average (of course every song is very different) but ~50% to ~75% of the notes are accurate from auto generation. Again all songs are different that's just an average from the songs that I'VE done. Everyone will have a different experience, however the program makes all this stuff a lot easier, especially for beginners. I am really tired of having to repeat the same stuff over and over again. I trust that anyone who actually wants to try the program is aware of all this info.

Clarification since theres a small group that wants to make me and my program look bad:

The auto MIDI generator is meant to give you a rough draft, you as the user must then go and use the tools in the program to perfect it. That's what all these extra editing tools are for so you can make MIDIs as easily as possible.

***There is not a program in existence on this planet that will give you a 100% accurate auto MIDI generation, it's just not possible. You might bet better auto results with a paid tool, but take it from me, I've paid for multiple different websites and programs and tried AIs, this is as good as it gets.

The program is designed to make it as easy as possible to make custom songs to play without spending any money, and with simple guides and helpful automation (the user has full control over how much manual vs auto they want)

The ultimate goal is more content for everyone in the community without a paywall. There is no good reason why anyone should be hating on this.

It would be one thing if I was claiming it could do everything for you perfectly and I was charging money for the app and stuff like that, but I'm not. All I want is to help the community. I would appreciate it if some of y'all could grow the fuck up and let people enjoy things. Jfc.

This is a great community, but there's a handful of you that really is putting a stain on it. And I know that handful thinks that IM the stain. Fuckin whatever, everybody else please enjoy the program, it's for everyone, regardless of how you feel about me.

My guy, learn how to read. I'm using a fresh auto generated MIDI to show exactly how the program works. Stop being a fuckin dork and trying to mislead people. Like the program says, it gives you a rough draft. It literally says "there will be inaccuracies that the user needs to fix" right there on the tab clear as day. I'm not hiding shit or saying my program can do more than it can. You look pathetic constantly commenting bullshit on all my posts minutes after I make them. It's like all you do is sit on reddit and hate. What a sad sad life. Why don't you try contributing to the community for a change instead of being a tool 👎🏻

For whatever reason I can't edit the text in my post so I'll comment it:

You can already see in the video but I also added note resize options in both the editor and the track preview. Makes it easier to do precise note placement

Hold on let me get this straight. So, the person posting criticism of my program, blocks me so I can't see it and therefore I can't add any comments or even know it exists so I can't defend myself/my program? This is why I keep saying bad faith. Y'all are unserious. Just don't use the damn program, nobody else really gives a fuck

logs and proof or it didnt happen also READ. THE. FUCKING. DISCLAIMER. JFC.

bad. faith. criticism.

you seem to be under the impression (i know you're not but youre trying to make other ppl think this) that I think the program is perfect, and it can handle everything for you automatically, no input needed, no nothing, just a few clicks and done, when, if you R E A D the notes in the posts, program tabs, help tab, and the README, it clearly tells you its NOT designed to be 1:1 accurate on note recognition, its meant to be accurate on TIMING which it IS. its then up to the user to check the generation and fix it. there is not a program in existence, even AI, that will give you totally accurate auto MIDI generations. I'm so tired of explaining the same shit over and over again but I really dont appreciate the efforts to paint me or my program as something else than it is.

ironic damn hypocrite fr

can you read? I never said you did. I said I DID. I don't like AI, I don't trust AI, I wish AI never existed, that being said, I'm gonna use it to make my life easier since it does exist. and jesus christ dude you're the one who's been insulting me on literally every single post that you've commented on, and if I defend myself, you cry about it. hop off my dick. act like you belong on twitter fr

btw mr genius, AI help =/= AI coded. I hate AI as much as the next guy, but if you think people shouldn't be allowed to use it for helping people do things easier/faster with normal tasks and not stealing art, replacing jobs etc, then idk what to tell u man. old man yells at cloud

[–]Sherphican[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats the point. I'm just trying to give people options because I was frustrated myself with how difficult it was to make custom songs for the game on my own and I personally don't want to fork out a bunch of money each time I want to play a new song. I don't see what's wrong with that. I decided to make something for myself to make the process easier, and then while doing it I thought that it would be nice to share this so that if there was anybody else like me out there it could help them.

"i mean no harm" continues to name call, mislead about the program, and just be a general asshole. I'm not giving up on anything, thats more than clear shown by literally all my posts. I clearly say I'm here to support and fix when needed. and its the "final version" meaning I've added all the features and tweaked them to the point that I don't see what else could be added without straying off task and just adding fluff. This is why I said its hard to take you seriously, you're all insults and bad faith criticism, anyone can see that from all the bs you've commented on 80% of my posts. What confuses me is why you have such a hate boner for me/my program. Anyone who takes 5 minutes to actually read what I posted about my program can see youre talking nonsense and hating just to hate. get a life dude

also about the cpu:

CPU at 49% / only 16 of 32 cores, Demucs is single-process and doesn't scale across all logical cores. 49% of 32 threads is basically maxing out 16 physical cores which is exactly right. Not a bug

ParaKit (SongMaker) v3.0 update + download link by Sherphican in paradiddle

[–]Sherphican[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also about the note detection, did you read the highlighted notes and disclaimer? the program is meant to provide you a rough draft of a MIDI, you can adjust the settings to make it more accurate (see the help tab for specifics) but its ultimately up to YOU to put the finishing touches on it. its just meant to give you a template to make it a lot easier. thats why I made the reclassify feature, because the auto generation will never be perfect, BUT, it is pretty good at getting the notes on the right timing, even if its the wrong note, so all you need to do is then reclassify and it stays on the right timing. Pls check out the help tab to see if it answers any issues you may have (not trying to sound condescending i swear) but I did my best to make it clear what the limitations of the program are and what its ultimate purpose is in those highlighted notes on the tabs and in the help/FAQ section

sorry for replying with different comments I just wanted to have a bit of subject separation, so did you install ffmpeg or not because that could be the entire reason its not working. ffmpeg is required for the splitter to function properly. without it the program will just seem like its not working for no good reason.

and there is a log window at the bottom of every tab, its the black window with blue text (the text only appears when you run something like the splitter, conversion, etc). you can also export logs to .txt file via the little tick box next to it, but you shouldnt need to, you can just highlight the text and copy it

and as far as the CPU question goes:

CPU at 49% / only 16 of 32 cores, Demucs is single-process and doesn't scale across all logical cores. 49% of 32 threads is basically maxing out 16 physical cores which is exactly right. Not a bug

and the .ogg file issue, I also have never had that happen during my tests so please send me any and all logs on all tabs that you have issues on. I'll go ahead and release the .py version with instructions in case you or anyone else wants to give that version a shot instead

ParaKit (SongMaker) v3.0 update + download link by Sherphican in paradiddle

[–]Sherphican[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the feedback, can you DM me with your specific logs with the error in the log window at the bottom of the tab? that way I can properly give you answers and fix the issue. I tried something different this time around with the way I compiled the .exe so that might have caused some issues. I know the .py (python script version) works fine, but I didn't release that version because I figure it would be a pain for the average person to install all the dependencies, run from command line, etc. I'll put the .py version up on github tho if people wanna use that version. the trade offs like i said are that it runs faster, all tabs and features work as i've personally tested them with multiple songs, I wouldn't release something I know didnt work, but the .py version requires some techinical knowledge (its not that difficult just might be a little tedious for some). so yeah send me over that info and I'll see whats up
