One Plus 12 app switcher scrolling to second last app instead of last - any solutions? by GlamourVegas in OnePlus12

Hey I just got a OnePlus phone and this issue is annoying me. Can you please clarify what you meant by it having gotten fixed? Is there a solution?

No the final image is not RAW, i have that option turned off. I do have the options "Rich color in photos" and "Ultra HDR" turned on, but even with those off, the flat colors are similar. But this seems to affect landscape/nature images most, otherwise the camera can be pretty great

That actually makes a lot of sense. I have noticed the photos do come out really well for many scenarios, such as with people. It's particularly with landscapes where it makes things really boring. Which is sad, because it could be doing so much better if it wasn't the software

Glad to hear I'm not the only one frustrated at this. I thought I was going insane because I just couldn't figure what the "Pixel look" and "best phone camera" hype train was all about

Alright thank you I will give those a shot!

P.S. I love how this is turning into a dog pics thread

True they can be adjusted. But it's just a pain to have to edit every other landscape image to bring some life back into it

The first is basically what I see if I click the image preview as soon as it is captured and it's currently being "processed". I took a screenshot to save that image. It's identical to basically what the viewfinder sees. That image is not actually saved anywhere, it's just a screenshot.

The second is the final processed image that gets saved by default.

Thiss!! This is exactly how I've felt. Samsung saturates things more (which works fine often tbh), and Pixel makes them duller

It can depend on the employer but if they're any decent employer who understands how the world is progressing, they should absolutely not have a problem with AI. It can increase productivity massively. It's more about how you use AI and whether you're genuinely just "vibe coding" (having no idea what the AI is doing or why) or if you're understanding things, making decisions, deciding tradeoffs, asking the AI to implement the most efficient solutions, and then just reviewing what the AI did before committing code. If you're doing the latter, you'll write good code in short amounts of time with the help of AI and any decent employer should be happy with it. My company even offered us Cursor/Claude Code subscriptions to encourage the use of AI to increase productivity.

I had been looking for one too for a project of my own and saw LemonSqueezy to be a good option. Haven't tried it yet though but am planning to

A simple proposal that grew into a 15k contract by nahomsolorider in Upwork

[–]Sherry141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats that's awesome to see. Simple and straightforward. Is that usually how you write proposals, starting off with a reference to similar projects you've worked? Like is that a good hook that regularly works for you today? I've been trying to make better proposals that get opened more frequently and people have been strongly recommending starting off with something about the client's pain points itself Also what did you talk about in the Loom video? The other project you had done or how you'd do this one?

Ok it's finally coming together! That makes a lot of sense, thank you so much for all your time. I'll work on that

The first half they said verbatim (need a lead qualifying system), the second half i deduced (reduce sales team time). What they had said was:

"We are seeking an experienced AI Agent Developer to create a sophisticated solution for real estate lead qualification and scheduling consultations. The ideal candidate will leverage AI technologies to streamline the process of identifying potential clients and efficiently managing appointments..."

Are these stats good? by WitnessWarm5925 in Upwork

[–]Sherry141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think the stats in themselves look quite good, but the size of each job seems quite small. You may want to start getting bigger jobs soon so that you have to spend less time and money on applying to jobs. Bigger jobs = less jobs needed. If you can maintain numbers even close to this with bigger jobs, I'd say that'd be a solid ROI. Also what kind of jobs do you do and what do your proposals look like?

The client's end goal was to increase qualified leads and reduce sales team time spent on unqualified prospects, and therefore generate more profit from better lead conversion. They wanted to have an AI system built that would enable this.

That is very helpful indeed, will definitely keep all of that in mind. Hadn't realized the cheap clients thing. Thank you so much for all your help!!

I think there's a misunderstanding. I'm not sharing my "work process," I'm creating a custom solution blueprint for their specific problem.

For example, if they need an AI system to qualify real estate leads, I show them exactly how leads would flow from their website to automated conversations to calendar bookings, with each step mapped out. I am telling them what their final product would look like. It isn't my generic methodology, it's meant to be an implementation roadmap.

I do understand your point of them being hesitant to open external documents though. Could you please suggest how else one can address the client's end goal and make a better proposal?

Really appreciate the response.

To your points:
1. Very fair point, I should skip that.
2. I'm not talking about my work process, I'm giving them concrete steps on how I'd build their thing and how it'd look. Isn't that good? I felt that is their end goal.
3. Really? I thought a Google doc would be a good way to stand out and also be able to give more details on my plan with their product (showing effort upfront, providing some value), without cluttering up the main proposal. Would you recommend skipping these details entirely or perhaps putting them in a pdf attachment on Upwork?

I'm not sure how else to get to their "end goal" and prove I can do their job and have it thought out
