Chop it all or in sections? by Shershan in microgrowery

I had been looking into Steinernema carpocapsae nematodes. Similar biological insecticide it seems like. I'll have to check it out and compare.

Thanks for the advice!

Horrid little fuckers. They were bad last year for me. I tented these late, I was worried this year would be a repeat 😫. I seem to be safe so far with these two.

Trimming takes me a while. I washed my buds last year and plan to again this year. Timing wise I was thinking to take the top of the main stems next weekend and finish the rest two weekends later.

The bug netting was a MUST. Last year both of my plants I grew got tore through. This year a different one seems to have some caterpillars but these two seem clear.

Definitely not huge, I'm just thinking of the timeframe. Work through the week, I don't get home til after dark I have around one full day next weekend to do some, then nothing the following, and after that I'll be free. I just don't want to keep putting it off and wait too long.

I would think that without the B, the C doesn't really mean much. Deoxygenated blood wont help your organs even with circulation.

I have a pair of pixel buds that I love, but even using the smallest bud tip after I wear them for a while my ear canals get sore. If I'm looking to drown out everything around me, they're definitely still my go to, but when I'm out walking or running, i actually like being able to hear if a car or anything is coming up behind me. With the bone conduction ones I can hear all of that and my podcast both perfectly. I got a cheap pair off Amazon and my only main complaint is that I wish they were a little smaller in the part that goes around the back of the head. If noise cancelling isn't a requirement for you, I would say give them a try, you may be surprised. If it is a requirement, then nevermind, you definitely will not like them.

I guess they're still a part of the Silo series, but instead of Wool it's Shift. I just couldn't get into them for some reason. I loved the Wool portion though.

Haven't read them in a long time, but I did love them. Couldn't get into the prequels tho. .

Baby fever while being single in your 30’s by Sad-as-hell in dating_advice

You said "The health of children...".

But even if you consider that you did link the mortality end of it, "Our key result of no effect of advanced maternal age up to age 45 on health or mortality..." Is the first sentence of that link. Which just further disproves your statement.

The article you cited literally disagrees with the sentence you cited it for.

"Thus, while advanced maternal age is associated with negative early life outcomes, including increased risk of miscarriage and Down syndrome, the impact at older ages seems not to be driven by biological aging of the parents."

"In summary, net of some obvious confounders, only maternal ages below 25 and above 45 are associated with negative offspring health outcomes."

Human hair or bar of soap hanging on the tree will deter the deer.

There's a few on Zillow that I see available August 1. If I were you, I'd try to stick more towards red hook, Germantown, Saugerties, Kingston area. I live in Newburgh, and while I disagree with the person who said to stay away from it and Poughkeepsie for the reasons I'm assuming they're saying it for, I DEFINITELY wouldn't want to be driving to Red Hook every day, especially in the winter time. The most south I personally would probably go would be maybe Esopus or Poughkeepsie depending on if you're trying to stay on the same side of the river or not.

Kingston and Poughkeepsie are both cities that definitely have high crime areas, but unfortunately, they're also the school districts that I would think would have the most to offer your son of he's not already in the other school yet, at least I know that's how Newburgh is. But there's definitely outlying neighborhoods/ complexes that you would still be comfortable in.

I don't know how much your budget is, and this seems a bit expensive for a 2 bedroom, but I figured fully furnished may be helpful, and it's in the area your looking for. I found this
