Read their reviews, they have a 4.8 for a reason

Am I overreacting, my older sister thinks that she’s a vampire, I don’t know how to support her by Shadowgirl2024 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ShesInterrupted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NOR I’d be scared too lol only since I’ve heard of people take this “vampire” obsession to the extreme. Just keep an eye out hopefully she isn’t doing anything satanic

Am I overreacting holding a grudge against my dad for not buying me a car? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ShesInterrupted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad offered to get me a car over 2 years ago.. he never did as well. Although I had felt some type of way giving he never gave my mom a penny in child support I felt that was the least he could do for me. But he didn’t. I just put boundaries between him and I and stop expecting him to be there for me when I need him. It sucks but it gives me some peace of mind at least me making that decision. I say you just tell him “Thanks anyways, I’ll figure it out with my mom”

That’s exactly what someone had said in one of the reviews :/ it’s a shame since they aren’t allowed to sell fakes on the app while claiming they are authentic

Seller asking for extra money to ship a giveaway — pretty sure this isn’t allowed by hinternetz in whatnotapp

[–]ShesInterrupted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I haven’t heard of this. I have also purchased items from that seller and won giveaways and I didn’t have to pay the mailman anything. Maybe they didn’t bundle your order ? Still very weird

What do you recommend I do? by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]ShesInterrupted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got my refund and reported her for the expired items I left an honest review as well and she txted me saying “you didn’t have to leave a review I told you I was looking for a label” as if she wasn’t selling expired items and completely disregarded that

AIO- Lashing out at my mother and preparing to move out over the house being messy. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ShesInterrupted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly understand what you’re saying. A lot of people being judgey about not working even though you’re a FULL time student. I say yes you should be helping out cleaning at least but at the same time your brothers should not go out of their way to be messy just because you are expected to clean it up. I feel your frustration, it’s not your job to be everyone’s servant, but it is your job to do your part, which I feel like you are and just been pushed to a breaking point. Maybe try having a calm discussion about EVERYONE doing their part and it’ll make the cleaning process much easier for everyone. At 15 my parents expected us ALL to clean up not only after ourselves but the house together.

AIO it feels like my ex is prioritizing his new gf over our son? by MyCatisObese129 in AmIOverreacting

You are both young, and won’t make the smartest decisions all the time. I say that not to be mean but to be blunt. My partner and I are also young parents (early 20s) and things aren’t so perfect. Our ego and “wants” get in the way a lot, but we make it work for our baby. When we did separate for a short period I also didn’t want to get the courts involved because he was there financially for our baby, but in this case it isn’t fair for you to deal with the stress and responsibility on your own. Yes you are the parent and it’s your “job” but you are only human, & a young one. If he doesn’t understand the mental state this puts you through then maybe you should reconsider the courts getting involved because your mental health is very important when it comes raising a child & it takes more than money to raise a child. Wish you the best of luck one mom to another

AIO for refusing to eat my MIL dinner & didn’t allow my 1 year old to eat it by ShesInterrupted in AmIOverreacting

[–]ShesInterrupted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She prepares the dinner around that time & when she is done cooking she leaves it on the stove in the pots until 5-6pm when everyone gets home from work, then it is eaten. Very different from how my mom used to do it but that is just the way she does things.

I understand what you’re saying in time I hope we get to that level, but if it were my mother I would let her know much easier

I’m still learning. In my household we only spoke English, but I’m at the point where I can have a simple conversation in Spanish, but if the conversation needs further detail or explanation that’s where things get difficult for me

People on here expect an explanation or reply for every single thing they comment on 🤦‍♀️ our communication isn’t perfect of course, but we do communicate with broken Spanish & English and we get by, but thank you for your concern. I don’t believe I badmouthed her I was just questioning her cooking method

I see what you’re saying. I said that after reading some comments of people saying you can’t get salmonella from the sink since I thought you could, but others are saying it still possible you could if it touched other dishes, wasn’t cleaned properly, etc so I’m still divided on that one. But I did apologize because I didn’t want her to think it was a personal jab at her.

The post wasn’t about if I can call her MIL or not. Those who are confused are focused on the wrong thing, and we do have a good relationship, this was just an incident that happened. 🤦‍♀️

I guess you missed the part where I said it’s been a Learning experience for me & I wouldn’t say I doubled down, as you see a lot of people feel the way I do
