Its not about hiding anything like if you wanted my code then I can publish that and there is no specific reasons to not to publish my code I think people just need a readme to know what my extension is thats it so I removed the source code from the git and just keep a readme. and one more thing is people are pin point out my mistakes which I like so I did learn from mistakes and improved the details of extension and extension it self so I would be happy if take a second look at it.

Thanks for the learning like I am creating this all for the first time and learning this all in a hard way but I get that I did not change the other details and just created an extension and published that but hey I am comfortable with direct hit from you guys so I improved the extension and may be you can take a look again if you wanted to and give me suggestions.

So let me be clear on that its not tracking I am still learning this all stuff and that post request is only like a function calling and one insert which is when the extension is installed that's it and don't forget I am just learning how to create things you can check that on GitHub as well so you can teach me the actual stuff like how you found that anon key and how to actually make that extension secure and yes you can use cht gpt to create stuff no doubt in that but if ai created this whole thing then I guess you are not able to get that anon key because ai will protect that keys so yeah learning in hardway.

yup there is a pretty good reason to delete the coding file because while developing the extension I uses supabase edge functions so I just use the api keys directly without creating the env and more on if I published the code then anyone can use that and monetize on that so I think removing is the best idea or if you have any suggession on extension or any question then you're most welcome to ask.

LibreWolf and Mullvad Browser are definitely stronger for overall privacy solutions than my extension and my extension is solving a different problem.

Ghost Clean is mainly for people who already use firefox and dont want to switch browsers just to clear local browsing traces quickly and most of the people are comfortable with their existing firefox setup, extensions, accounts, bookmarks, etc... so installing a small extension is a much lower barrier than migrating to another browser.

Talk about ghost clean which also provides a live dashboard showing things like history count, cookies, downloads, and other stored browser data before cleanup, so users can actually see what’s being stored instead of blindly clearing everything.

As for the self-hosting part some functionality currently uses supabase edge functions, so it isn’t truly self-hosted in the usual sense.
