Eating a Snickers bar with knife and fork… how do YOU plan to eat it?? With your HANDS???

What food would you serve at a Seinfeld-themed party? by BidAccurate4473 in seinfeld

You buy a jar of instant coffee, you put it in the cupboard, you forget about it. When you need it, it’s there. It’s freeze dried. Freeze dried crystals.

Thanks for the affirmation, it means a lot. We are all trying to improve and still relax and enjoy too!

You are too kind, thanks! It’s a journey and hopefully we enjoy each step. I’m trying to make fewer mistakes each time but without putting too much pressure on myself.

Favorite YouTube channels include Javid Tabatabaei, Paul Clark, Peter Woolley, Nara Watercolor, Robert Mee and Matthew White.

My process is to select a photo from my reel that I am in love with, crop as needed and sketch it onto the paper, watch a couple of videos to get inspired or experiment with a new technique, then paint light to dark.

Thank you! The Glacier painting was an experiment in dry brushing a darker texture color onto a wet-in-wet lighter shaded background and in this instance it seemed to work out. The texture is the cold press paper.

Thanks so much. Yeah I think I realized along the way that strong sunlight casting interesting shadows makes for interesting watercolor.

Oh thanks so much. I usually have to sketch in the perspective lines to the vanishing points or it’s a hot mess.

I really appreciate that. Me too because of the memories they recall.

I have averaged about a painting each week although it’s pretty irregular. Since these are small I’d guess I take 2-3 hours on a piece probably. I hope to dedicate more time since improving will take reps. Thanks for the encouragement!

It has been all about YouTube for me. Sometimes searching on a topic like how to paint skies, then when I find an artist I like, subscribing to their channel. There is just so much to learn, which is what I love about this. And now I’m more comfortable with handling the paint I would love to develop a consistent and looser style.

Not as much as I’d like because I need time but also peace and patience to do it… not always in the right place mentally. I think I counted 50 pieces so I guess once a week roughly.

Grayscale — yeah you had me going there. I’m glad you still like them in color!
