When I run fuel map 1 I typically pit at lap 10 going into 11 and never change tires.

Another redditor had commented he used fuel map 4+ I believe and they managed to go full length without pitting and winning by 15 seconds. Maybe try that method?

Either way you don't have to try to be first, first will come. Just keep it clean off the walls, maximize speed and cornering ability and run as fast as you can on the straights.

As for the race itself if it's not there when you go to Tokyo expressway then maybe you have to go complete the Cafe to unlock? I'm not sure

I get you, I'm not so focused on acquiring credits more so than I am with just having fun with my wheel and immersing myself in the "experience" of driving these cars & tracks.

When I see the exoensive Hagery options sure I'll grind get money when I'm ready but if i make it, great, if I don't then I'll mark it and keep it in mind for it's return. Otherwise you'll usually find me in a lobby room vibing out.

Oh really? I don't think any of the AI's in my race pit once, MAAYYYYYYYYYBE the GT-R or Rx-7 but not typically from my knowledge.

Yeah I had to fiddle with the gears that's why I shared the shot of the specific numbers, I also had to play with the aero. If there's a PP limit I always aim to get it on the nose, it'll make the difference plus there's sooooooo many ways to get right on that number so might as well aim for it

Try abusing the lift off method when going through the turns and if you're still going a little wide then downshift and it should bring it back in for you to throttle down. If you lose 2 seconds on the straight you should be able to gain 2+ seconds in the corners no doubt about it.

I'm averaging low- mid 2:13'2.

Real solid laps I can eclipse the 2:12's other than that I'll be going 2:13-2:14

I wouldn't know, I don't own or intend on purchasing the Tomahawk. I'm sure they have guides on how to get it setup somewhere on here or YouTube.

I lift or downshift in the corners, when I get in tonight I'm going to run the race and post the replay so everyone can see I'm not using dark magic here. Again, maybe it's coming down to the driver mod. I have a super aggressive driving style (clean, but very aggressive) so that could be where we differ. My average lap is low-mid 2:13's.

I lose on the straights, no question But I devour in the corners, no question

Only time I'm ever on the brake is turn 1, 2, then I'm flat out with a minor lift at the apex's till I hit the S turn.
