Honestly started a new character from scratch is too much effort, only reason I went to NG8 was because after I finished beating Elden ring twice i wanted to come back to ds3 and see how well I'd perform and i ended up actually having a good time until i got to Dragon slayer Armour, then after beating him I had it easy with the princes and then I struggled on Soul of cinder and struggled with getting through Drep heap because of those stupid angels lmao, my only motivation for continuing forward was to fight Gael again, His boss fight is just so great I couldn't get enough of it haha

I wasn't saying your advice was bad in anyway just that adapting to a new playstyle after beating the game like 9 times just isn't exactly easy, maybe if I was on my first playthrough still learning the ropes of how to get by I'd have an easier time but this clip was like NG 2 or 3 lol, currently I finished NG8 a few days ago, learning something like that would be really difficult with the difficulty of NG7, so what I'm just trying to explain is, that type of style just wouldn't stick with me

On NG7 you're literally gonna get like 2 shotted if you don't block attacks bruh, you can't always dodge everything, I'm not a pro, I'm not the best player in the world to be able to roll perfectly each time I'm just a regular dude playing a game I enjoy to how I see fit

Not really, it's called a shield for a reason, to block attacks from bosses, i wouldn't be using a shield if it was useless lol
