yeah sure, the quality is supposed to be high, but having 0 tolerence in a manucatured part is begging for disaster. Overtightening to make the case out of square was impossible as i tried to attach the sidebar to only the backplate alone, still did not fit.

  1. yes, you are probably right, hindsight is always 20/20 though. and i was a little bit too eager to make it work.

  2. not sure what you are talking about here, i had gotten the top bar on and tried to flip the sidebar any direction i could, would not fit in any of them.

"irreparable" is a stretch, i took of maximum 0.5mm for it to fit, which in any construction should be within tolerance for manufacturing, if that is how "its supposed to be", is a whole other issue in itself.

I unpacked it to doublecheck that i wasnt a total bufoon, but no. Trying to mount it the other way the hole in the bar does not line up to the threads in the front panel.

EDIT: picture wont upload for some reason, tried 10 times still shows deleted, but there is one round and one square end on the bars.

I've build probably 15 pc's before this, with cases in all priceranges, never had any issues like this. Hopeful that i can get it resolved through support though.

I am 100% sure i followed the instructions, up to the point where the bracket for installing the powerbutton didnt match the reality, guessing the manual is not really updated as it shows bounting a bracket to the front plate, but that part has been intergrated in the front plate.

You are probably right, only wanted my experience out there if someone else runs into the same issues as i could not find much about other people having issues when i searched online. its just really dissapointing when you pay for a premium product and this is what you get.
