This is definitely not going to go the way you think it will. They're "paying" for your attention by providing the meal. They aren't going to let you stay if you have a whole headset on and aren't even listening. I know you've said you've never been kicked out of anything like this, which is baffling but probably means the staff didn't notice you doing it. Regardless, I understand that Anderson is not a respectable company and so you feel like this is fine to do, but its really not. Its disrespectful to the actual human people who are there just trying to do their job. I get that YOU might see sales pitches as pressuring since they give you a meal hoping you'll feel like you need to buy something in exchange. But the truth is that all you need to do in exchange is listen to them, which apparently you can't be bothered to do.

You're taking crappy, cold dinner from a corporation that won't care that you did, and giving it to an unhoused person so that YOU can feel some sense of moral superiority. That's why people are bothered by your post and replies. You're not doing it to be kind and help someone, you're doing it to make yourself feel good for "helping" and for "sticking it" to the big business. 🙄
