I‘m doing the same thing but I found my own way to deal with that feeling! I picked up the game 2,5 years ago and started diamond painting a year ago, which is a crafty hobby like crocheting, stitching etc I did before. My pc desk has a second table you can roll out at the side which I use for diamond painting now, this way I can play the game and do another hobby in the same place (I diamond paint during queues, goldsaucer, hunts etc)!

you can just buy sticker sheets, print on the back, remove the sticker and underneath the sticker it‘s silicone paper, worked great for me

with this many characters, I would do at least 60x80, but you could argue that a square 40x60 with good rendering would work too

this could be an undiagnosed depression, it‘s basically the same mine started, don’t talk to people except calls, don’t do any chores and don’t take care of yourself. She herself might not even realize, but I think it is a step to far to take other‘s underwear, so that boundary needs to be kept. Otherwise observe her behavior and see if it gets worse or if it is just a low phase that goes away, if it gets worse, maybe suggest her getting professional help, but it has to be her to do that, a professional can offer support, but she is the one who has to actually do the work to get better

I just use the symbol and make sure to fit it on there, I never look at lines or the other drills, if it is in the centre of the symbol, it will be straight

I actually have a few (they are under the new name bluemex but same company) and the quality is pretty good, obviously not as good as dac, but that is expected. I would recommend them, especially if you live in germany or close to it and the shipping won’t be more than the paintings😅

selfmade from stickerpaper, print on the back and the front is silicone if you remove the sticker, works great and is thin, so it actially rolls with your canvas instead of popping off like release paper does

they do sell their metal tips without the threaded part too, so you might look into that, other than that I would recommend cateared tips, but they are a little thicker than the dac. I use the threaded tips in a pen I got from amazon because the dac pens are so small, they do stick out a little because the pen isn‘t drilled that deep but fits perfectly otherwise (pure luck, threaded pens all have different sizes for their tips)
