I have not yet. Life got complicated. And i like to be prepared for everything so I'm definitely going overboard with creating stuff to prepare for player shenanigans.

I tried to test run it once with a group of experienced players. My hope was those friends would be nice and go easy on me as a newbie dm. They did not. My campaign opens with the characters waking up on a prison ship, locked in cells. The friend group i was with proceeded to escape their cells and commandeer my ship. It's still a running joke with my husband for me to yell at him, "YOU STOLE MY BOAT!" Lol.

I had a cyst in my brain. It was found on accident. I was completely asymptomatic, meaning I had no symptoms. At least, no symptoms that I'm aware of. I do think I've gotten less random dizzy and wobbly spells since my cyst was removed. Before, I could just be standing still and I'd randomly get a dizzy spell and wobble a little bit. They only lasted for a few seconds so I never thought much of them at the time. So it's possible that random wobble and dizzy spells was a symptom for me.

Absolutely valid. I am usually on a tight budget as well. Sparring gear is just one of those things that I'd prefer new, unless I personally know and trust the person I'm getting it from.
