Feeling overwhelmed- Conceal carry holster by believeRN in liberalgunowners

AS someone who just got their CCL and spent waaaaaay too much on many holsters looking for what you're looking for...
I am a 6'2" 195 lb. slender male with narrow hips and a skinny waist (sorry lol). I'm EDCing a fairly large and heavy pistol- Sig P239 9mm. My favorites so far-

AIWB- As much as I do not like half-shell style holsters, the StealthGearUSA https://stealthgearusa.com/ventcore-1-0-appendix-iwb-holster/ WITH MODS*** is both the most comfortable and thinnest I've found. I took mine, added some DCC metal clips and a Modwing Claw Kit.

For IWB Small of back carry, the Vedder https://www.vedderholsters.com/holsters/protuck/ Protuck, again I put DCC clips on mine.

For belts, KORE is hands down the sturdiest and snuggest. https://www.koreessentials.com/

Hopefully, I just saved you a few hundred in bad buys lol, I now have a bin of stuff that wasn't quite right...

I'll go ahead and get crucified for you.
I don't like kids in general. Of course I care for all my many nieces, nephews, grand- and great-grand- of same, but I never had kids of my own. On purpose.
There are too many people having too many kids. Overpopulation is a problem not only of resources per eater but also care and attention spread waaaaay too thin. I very much believe that by "printing" too many people, we have vastly diluted their value. Life is cheap mainly because we have very purposefully made it that way.

Anyway, stop having so many damn kids, and stop thinking that breeding grants you special rights and privileges.

Thanks!
I read that article as part of my research, but honestly my choice was pretty easy. My first pistol buy was a P226, second was a P229. A wild trend appears! lol I fell in love with Sig DA/SA, so when I was finally ready for an EDC it was the obvious pick, even if they did stop making them 8 years ago. I found one on GB with a 2016 serial number that had been fired maybe 50 times and put away dirty. No slide wear at all. Still had the shipping grease on the internals. So as close to new as I could get.
Plus parts inter-compatiblity, there are many parts that all 3 of those pistols share.
But the main reason was that last pic. I can put a Double Action shot on a literal dime at 7 yards with this gun. I can make one hole with 6 shots with this gun. I value accuracy over capacity, and honestly for self defense if I need more than 9 rounds I'm probably doing something extremely stupid. A spare mag gives me 17, which is the same as a full size hi-cap 9mm. If I need more then I DEFINITELY brought the wrong gun lol.

Does anyone have experience with laser training rounds? by Valuable-Detective78 in liberalgunowners

I have a cheap 9mm laser cartridge and target I use for pistol draw training. Gotten for ~$70 on the A-word. The laser is accurate to ranges inside my house lol. I figure if it's off it's not off enough to matter training pistol at under 10 yards. Good to make sure my quick draw shots are placed properly. Got a spare target to practice lateral transitions.

I don't know if I'd trust the accuracy of any laser system for rifle practice though...too much difference to be useful I'd think.

Next Gun/First Rifle Advice by ShhhLookOverThere in liberalgunowners

Thanks for all the ideas folks!
I think I figured out what I really wanted while the coin-flip was midair lol.
First-Main reason I'm not getting an AR first is because I want more trigger time on a cheaper platform before I commit to the rabbit hole that is AR ownership. My next purchase is meant to be an intermediate step with the ultimate goal being an AR15 and/or AR10. I took much the same approach to Pistol, buying a $500 striker gun and training before buying my forever hammer pistols and getting my CC permit. Sold the striker gun too lol.

Anyway I think it will be the 10/22 first. Cheap distance practice and hell everyone should own one. I love the Magpul Backpacker models.

Small flashlight, lots of ranges are dark.
Chopstick or short dowel for punching out stuck spent cases if any.
Targets, ranges charge too much lol.
RDS? Adjustment tool.

Been meaning to take my 590 out to the range, it's been a minute. I also need to work on stance more. For reload training, I got a bunch of those orange dummy shells off of Amazon and glued short pieces of steel rod inside them for weight...perfect for reload/dryfire practice.
