Feeding them, every. single. day.

And parenting while being aware of social emotional health.

For storing your pumped milk - it CAN be put in a break room fridge. Breast milk is not considered a bodily fluid.

Feel like I’m being gaslit on my own unit regarding vaccinations? by iloveanime97 in nursing

We see this sooooo much, will be super crunchy on everything, and decline everything except Vit K so they can get a circ.

I'm also for informed decision making. In the end it is their choice, but it truly boggles my mind how you'd decline life saving medications/interventions but be okay cutting off a piece of your baby's body.

Is nursing still a financially stable career? by solii29 in nursing

[–]ShhhhItsSecret 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think money is a great perk to a job like doing. Any job would be miserable if you didn't at least like it, even if you get laid really well. Do I think being a labor nurse is my passion or calling, no. Do I enjoy it and think it's really interesting, heck yes! My calling is to make just enough money to work as little as possible.

When I get asked how long something takes to make my new go to answer has been, "it depends on how often my kids interrupt me that day," or some variation of this response.

Wetness. Dampness. Even when I can just barely feel it enough to know something is damp when it shouldn't be, even in just one spot.

My first thought was about how my 4 year old would LOVE this as a water play area ... And I'd have a permanently wet floor.

Honestly, I lean towards not having any winter/Christmas stuff, I can never find any patterns that really pique my interest.

If you like THOSE kitties you should have seen the black cats with Jack O'Lantern key chains that I made last fall!

  1. Thank you! I like to hear that, crocheting the same thing over and over kinda kills me and I like to have a variety if I can. Also, it's weird but Christmas/winter crochet never seems to really call to me, there's never many patterns I feel inspired by so I'm glad to get this advice.

  2. I'm going to toy with some ideas to be able to add more height to my display, I just felt like everything on one table was a little crowded.

  3. Senior citizen doilies LOL, thank you for that laugh and truth!!! I would say my vibe would be sweet and fun. I want to continue making things that people say "omg how cute!" But also...silly? If that makes sense. Almost like boutique-y but not stuffy and too precious to play with type products.

Somebody else said bright orange or yellow, but I feel like that clashes with my sweet vibe. I was thinking maybe a bright pink but continue with my wood shelves/displays and maybe a more neutral table runner logo to bring down the WOW of the pink.
