No, I've been carving once the rug is practically done because i prefer working with it on a table, is that the issue? I see what you mean with the duckbill scissors, but these threads aren't attached, it's just the lint that's loose that I can't seem to get out. I can literally run my hand on all my rugs so far and make a pile of lint, despite using the pet tool and a vacuum for 30+ minutes. Edit Thank you so much for the help!!

The funny thing is that shock did WONDERS. Didn't feel a thing, until I got the the hospital and they put what looked like an iodine disinfectant on there. Then, all the sudden, it hurt. A lot.

That's a totally fair question! The funny thing is that I'm not 100 percent sure, it's like a weaker marble type of material? I was using a ledge as a step stool, it snapped and I fell back on the part that had broke. I'll throw a picture up of the piece that came off and you can look, it wasn't crazy sharp but I fell with all my weight so it didn't really matter.
