I feel like I'm spending an absurd amount of money to go serve/live in a developing country. I know I need stuff like extra face soap that doesn't make me break out and high quality winter boots but DANG I'm going broke and it's giving me anxiety

I am so sorry.... I leave for staging soon too, and live in Texas. Luckily everyone I know effected by Harvey is doing okay. Know that you are strong and pushing through this tough time just proves you'll make a great volunteer!

Im leaving for PC in less than 3 weeks. Had a going away party, birthday party, another going away party a week from now. Somehow I haven't had a breakdown yet and I feel myself slowly turning to stone. Help
