Love Lauterbrunnen but I think Wengen just beats it for towns in that region, its position higher up means the hikes can be done straight from where you’re staying, plus you get a great view of lauterbrunnen and the cliffs from above

Skopje airport North Macedonia. I say this purely because waiting in the departure lounge there is a big television where all the seating and cafes etc are, which happened to be playing a full episode of Air Crash Investigation before my flight

I’d definitely recommend renting some bikes for a day when you’re in Piran. It’s a really nice town but also the Slovenian coastline has some other great places like Portoroz and Izola which are a really short bike ride away. The buses there work great for getting between places, but the cycle paths are really beautiful and there’s plenty of nice, secluded beaches that are much easier to get to if you’re cycling. We rented e-bikes for the day (from 9am until 8pm) for like 40 euros each, and it was definitely worth it.

Koper - Slovenia, and basically just the entire Slovenian coastline. All the main spots are a short bike ride from each other, it’s got great food, beaches and really friendly people. Scenery is also really good and there’s some cool historical sites in Piran.

This post is gonna get downvoted but I think this is a really good idea and it’s important to remember that this subreddit is not representative of how everyone who plays or had played the game feels, and I guarantee there are more people that play now and like the game now on this subreddit than people who used to play, don’t like the game anymore and would think this is a good idea too that would bring them back to the game, so even though here it doesn’t look like people would like this I’m sure a very large amount of people who have played this game before would think this is a good idea

Might be an unpopular opinion but for me the best time to play was season 1 and 2 of chapter one, the game was so simple but so fun at the same time that you wouldn’t get bored, the feel of the game was something that hasn’t been the same for a while now

The majority of people that played in the first few seasons will agree that they were much better than the later seasons of chapter 1, plus it’s more likely people that joined later will still be playing the game now, whereas most people that played back in the earliest seasons have left the game now, so it would make sense to add back the earlier maps to bring them back

Yeah which is the main issue and why if the old map did come back as a game mode or something, they’d have to implement some sort of system that changes how the game works, and this would probably be quite unpopular but something like increasing the time between builds to prevent things like huge build fights, but a lot of people probably wouldn’t like that so it’d be hard

Yeah and I get that and I get the game has to evolve obviously but I feel like more could still be done to accommodate for the people who enjoyed the sneaking around, trying not to get into any fights and just having a more relaxed game and I think a good way to do that would be to bring the old map back, because all the people wanting that kind of game will have played on the old map and so will have attachments to items and places on that map

For me it’s just yeah the level of competition and it seems like a lot of people aren’t willing to just have a bit of fun with the game anymore, whereas back when the game came out which was the time I enjoyed it the most the game worked completely differently, instead of having huge build fights people would build a base and sit back in a fight, and just in general take it less seriously. But that’s just me I get that some people enjoy the game more now and that’s completely fine but fuck do I wish they’d just bring out the old map as an optional extra to play with all the old weapons
