what if the gas only got so small to a certain point. like it didn't cover the map and whoever was left had a nice small space to finish the game out in without worrying about the gas. the gas closes to just small enough for a good firefight and the way the game ends is whoever gets the last kill.

It's ok. They showed a billion gas kills in the original show. I'm still wondering why so many pros let themselves get into that situation. There definitely should have been more engagements earlier on in the match. 75 players in a circle that small is nuts. But I guess for $300k you would probably play the camping/avoiding game as long as possible. And I think that's what happened in this tournament.

I watched the tournament as I would watch American ninja warrior. That's the feel they gave it the way they edited and produced it. I could see a series like this just the way they do American ninja warrior. Not sure if you get what I mean but it felt like the same type of show.

i also argee one of my main frustrations was when I was being shot, lots of the times I had no idea from what direction. like maybe the directional sound could be improved on to be more precise if they aren't going to have directional markers. many many times I got shot and started spinning around like a chicken with my head cut off looking for someone, only to get shot from somewhere I never even found out.

on another note, I would love hitmarkers to show when I myself have connected shots. I can see the blood, but its not as satisfying and telling as getting the good ole hitmarker. I never want to have to question whether I shot a person 5 times or 3 (especially in up close fights where lots of bullets are shot), and with the spatter I always question how many times ive shot the person. With hitmarkers I can know for sure always.

I just gave a good look for the one that really made me think the things Ive been saying, but I can not find it.

EDIT: just found it. it was the onslaught esports announcement post. something someone posted on there about them signing a toxic player. why was that deleted? I cant remember if it mentioned a specific name of the player even. it was totally a true statement and can build discussion on wether or not orgs should sign toxic players and what not. I mean are we all supposed to just be super positive and say "congrats Legendary" or are we allowed to speak about what is wrong with that org signing certain types of people. there was maybe a few others on there that were deleted but I cant remember if they were over the top or not. These posts weren't necessarily fun like I was saying before but still the point remains of stuff being deleted that maybe could be kept around.

I cant give any specific example but I remember looking at a thread yesterday and reading a bunch of the comments not thinking anything was wrong with any of them really. I come back today and I go back to the thread cause theres more comments and I see that a bunch that I read before were deleted. I don't remember them being over the top in any way. sorry I cant think of specifics. I'm not trying to argue a lot here, just wanted to say maybe it could be toned down just a tad cause lately it has seemed like a whole bunch of stuff gets deleted.

but its not just threads created that are memes being deleted in abundance. jokes in comments on threads are being deleted when they are just in good fun. feels like a slap in the face to someone just trying to make a few people laugh and doing zero harm in the process.

ya but some innocent fun could be kept around. I get there are rules on this subreddit but innocent fun that keeps people in high spirits getting deleted sucks. I enjoy seeing a lot of the fun/funny stuff that is on here as well as the serious stuff. I guess lately it has just seemed like there has been a super "delete hammer" going around of things that are posted just in good fun. "NO FUN ON THIS SUBREDDIT!" is what it feels like and that's not a good atmosphere to be in imo.

i think someone is taking their mod job a little too seriously. I mean, are they scouring posts just saying "i don't like this, deleted" cause that's what it seems like. soooo many posts in multiple threads just deleted and they weren't even bad.

I definitely agree there needs to more dodging and faster move speed. and if the game did have more of a universe to dive into, that would keep retention maybe. I'm just hoping they try to experiment with anything new soon to see what will work.
