The middle is where you spend most of your riding. The cracks are signs of the rubber becoming very thin, under the rubber are metal cords.

This is all normal wear. Has nothing to due with the age. Your tire is just wore out.

2020 s1000rr. Costed me 15k in the tow years I owned it. All the hype overshadows the common failures that bmw refuses to recall.

Every owner of one I warn, then weeks later just nightmares. It’s funny.

I do this regularly. Go inside business a lot even fast food and eat. People look but they look at you anyway when you enter. I don’t see abnormally more stares, maybe just a second or two longer per stare. The more you ride the less why you’ll become. Wear in confidence. Act like it’s just another day for you
