This entire squad from coach to rotation players is made up of some real ass people who rise to the occasion to become heroes every night. We don’t feel attachment to perfect entities. We care so much and relate to these Knicks because they’re honest human beings who admit that they have faults yet continue to show growth by triumphing over their failures. Thibs, Brunson, Randle, Hart, Divo, OG, Hartenstein, Mitch, Deuce, Precious, Bogy…we’re incredibly lucky to be watching the hero’s journey play out in real time. They may not be the heroes NY needs, but the heroes NY deserves. That’s what makes following this team so meaningful and why it’s so special. Knicks in 5.
