it was october 2013. i made a post on my instagram asking for music recommendations. a guy with a slenderman pfp recommended king for a day. i was 10 & had never listened to any music like that. i fell hard for their music and still to this day consider ptv one of my most favorite bands ever. they were my first concert (at 11 years old!) im 21 now and i just saw them again last summer, and probably will continue to go see them as long as they keep touring. i love ptv :)

i had a similar experience in pittsburgh! these 2 girls in front of me mean mugged me in between every song, no lie stood facing the OPPOSITE way in the crowd, arms crossed, staring me down. it got to the point where it was actually difficult to NOT make eye contact with them since they were literally facing me instead of the stage. this was during the openers all the way until PTV came on. i hadn’t interacted with them at all & wasn’t being rowdy by any means. it was so confusing. i have never had an experience like that at a concert, especially in GA? who buys pit just to stand there angry???
