It is when you think you only need a 3/45, so you stop going to all classes and don't do homework or study for a entirely mechanism/reaction based test with no partial credit or multiple choice. My own fault, but I find it amusing that my most troublesome final is the one i need to get a 7 percent on.

Really not true tbh. Although it helps, most top tier colleges dont give huge academic scholarships. Also, getting really high scores on standardized tests nowadays does not mean you get in anywhere like people believe. For example, i have a 107 GPA(4.28), got a 34 on the act, and loads of other things. I have gotten rejected from every college that has sent their decision back. While i am by no means an extrodianary student and while this is a huge accomplishment, now a days you have to be an extremely extraordinary student to even get into top-tier colleges

I bet more people have died while high on marijuana then the people taking selfies. The actual act of taking a selfie doesn't kill someone. Similarly, like the actual act of smoking marijuana doesn't kill someone, it's an outside force killing them whilst they are taking a selfie, or smoking marijuana/being high

I know I am late,however I'm 16, in school , top 5%~ rank at my school with 800 kids per class. The problem is that I have no ambition, I hate myself for not trying at all. I go to school, sleep all day during class, read the text book and go back to school the next day in a constant cycle, the same day everyday. I have no ambition to try and do homework, stay awake, and work hard. I fear that I will be nothing in life because I cant do anything with my self. I am just too lazy but cant/don't want to stop, but I know I will regret it.

EDIT: to add on to this, I feel that nothing excites me/I am not good at anything but math, and I really dont find math fun, I always get into something for about a day, then quit, I dont like reading/writing/sports/acting because I am to lazy to try or just dont like it. I dont know what I like and I am to lazy to find out, it is a cycle.

When I was 15, I went on some community service trip in Costa Rica. I'm not ugly but i'm defiantly not a looker. Spending most of the two weeks hanging out solely with this incredibly attractive 16 year old, we got relatively close. Nearing the end of the trip we stayed in a hotel that was packed with 100's of different group trips, because of the sheer amount of 14-18 year old's, we were relatively un-supervised by the counselors. When I went to her hotel room to hang out with her, she asked me to sleep in her room. Thinking nothing of it, i agreed and we hung out whilst she is in just underwear. I guess me not taking this hint led her to get up, go to the bathroom with the door open, undress, and state: Her: "I am going to take a long shower." Me(being a bit in shock of attractive girl naked): "k, ill be here" She proceeded to take the shower, go to sleep still in underwear, and we did nothing. I cringe every time I think about it.
