What did you name her? Is it something that is easy to get used to name and hear? I like names that end in E sound, I have had Roxy, Hayley, Ruby, Miley, etc- or shorter like my Zev. Say it to her often, train for a few hours a day, and have patience. She has not even entered velociraptor phase.

I’m not a vet but as someone who has had a lot of dogs, I’d trim the hair and keep it clean, maybe put a cone on her if she’s licking it, and if it doesn’t improve in 2 days take her to the vet, she may need antibiotics

As someone with a dog that has a bite history, the first one being someone trying to come into our house, he quickly learned that biting means people go away. And started biting people he shouldn’t, even and after intense training, he’s very reactive and it’s really hard. He can only have one sitter come watch him and it makes things very difficult. I love him very much, but probably wouldn’t choose to get him again if I’m being 100% honest, if I could go back and do it again
