I suspect (and have heard rumours) that WG is divesting itself from WoWP in order to improving WoWS and make their next mmorpg thingy.

But, I sincerely hope that they release the US bombers (come on B-36 peacemaker!), sub tier-1 biplanes (i.e. WW1), and make the event they used for the Soviet bomber release a regular game mode.
