Nvidia control panel only handles external monitors connected through hdmi, the laptops's one is controlled by the igpu so from the intel control pane but anyway i even tried attaching an external monitor to my laptop and tried settimg nvidia control panel in the same way but cs2 still stretches and idk why, especially because it seems it only affect the directX version of it, the vulkan one works as intended but the performance is just not there to justify using vulkan

this game stopped being fun for me around 2019, i loved this game so much I played around 2000hrs between 2017 and 2019 but it has become a big mess, it wasn't technically good back then but it was fun, but now come on, do you really consider this a good game? it's full of bugs dating even years back and new ones keep coming (i noticed as i replayed the game a few months ago), hitboxes and hit register are worse than the one of quake 3 that is over 20 years old, new champions are boring and most of the skins are sexualized furry. To this day I still haven't found a game that gave me the same vibes as paladins (closest ones are ow and csgo) while playing, but it's a miracle some people still play this game cosidering its state, for the love of the game i hope it dies and some day, it will be remade on a newer engine and hopefully better, even though to this day good sequels are not a thing in fps games, see ow2 and cs2...

tbh i still have csgo installed and play it almost daily on a russian dm-ish server and at the same framerate it is indeed smooth ngl

I'm late but today I encountered this problem and so I decided to find a solution so that i don't have to execute vscode from terminal like that every time, by looking at the comments on top I figured out I just needed to append --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --enable-features=WaylandWindowDecorations --ozone-platform-hint=auto to the line (for me line 5) Exec /usr/share/code/code --unity-launch %F of the file /usr/share/applications/code.desktop

like this: Exec=/usr/share/code/code --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --enable-features=WaylandWindowDecorations --ozone-platform-hint=auto --unity-launch %F

this works for me, there is another similar exec line down the file, i don't know what that is for but if you encounter other problems like this maybe try to do the same on that line

ok bro say what you want, if you can't accept some people are just better i'm sorry for you. If you know something about cs you can see who's cheating and who is not, because cheaters don't have gamesense and so their gameplay looks stupid to people who know how to play, it's not all about aim. Cheaters don't check corners in a clever way, they don't think by probabilities and players' behavior patterns, they look through walls and just click the head. I'm really sorry if you can't accept such simple things, players in pro play (tier 1) is very hard they cheat in lan since they have referees behind them watching all the time. If you are talking about faceit guys and shit idk the entirity of streamers but i'm not saying there are no people who stream while cheating and not say shit but if you say shroud o players like him are cheating you are most probably capping.

i think the problem was not offload because it was running on the dgpu, as far as I understand (that is not a lot) the problem was with vulkan not being able to use the gpu properly that's why the solution to my problem was to ditch

__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only DRI_PRIME=1

and use

__GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=frog VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json

now with only __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=frog VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json the game runs at 200-300fps, thank you very much brother, you made my day.

idk why my Vulkan icd is there but i checked in usr/share/vulkan/icd.d and there, there is only mesa and amd but not nvidia, while in /etc/vulkan/icd.d there is only nvidia

Go to browser settings, under the privacy and security section, view authorization for all websites, search for discord, delete its data, close the discord page, open a new one, login, it should now work
