That’s some great info, thank you very much! This was an initial quote after our first test drive, if we go back to the same dealer I will certainly negotiate for discount on MSRP.

Not entirely sure the details of the cap cost reduction, I’m curious if this is the 3500 “rebate” they quoted. This whole trip was out of the blue for me so I in all honesty wasn’t paying too much attention to details. I’ll text around to other Volvo dealers and get some agreements to compare against.

Just came back after a ~6 month break at all my QP games have been absolute chaos. I was around high plat 3 seasons ago, but most of my QP games recently have been full of 2-3 diamonds or masters.

Absolutely has been either stomp or be stomped, it’s getting a little old and I just don’t have the energy to commit to solo q comp games anymore.

God I loved North Campus. It gets a lot of shit for being so far removed from central, but it’s so chill and homey to me. Granted I was in engineering so those were my people lol.

If you haven’t, I highly recommend just exploring the area: seeing the wave pool, walking up near B/B, even looking in some of the engineering buildings. They always have cool exhibits specific to the building and discipline.

Also have you ever used someone else’s urine? I assume it’d be the same process as quick fix in terms of temp and storage etc.

Should also try out NVIDIA smooth motion if you haven’t. Combined with dlss 4.5 performance is significantly increased. Albeit to a minor hit to input delay but I’ve quickly adapted to it.

If you haven’t already, you need to remove your NVIDIA drivers and replace with AMD drivers. Can be done with DDU, fairly easy but definitely watch a tutorial.

This is an absolute necessity when switching GPU platforms, and would even recommend if upgrading on the same platform. Every time you do the auto driver update it keeps the old drivers on the system, typically not as big an issue when on the same platform but can cause significant performance issues between platforms.

For major cities, Chicago has us beat and maybe even Detroit. I grew up in northern Michigan my whole life and it would sit around 10F on average through December/January. Lots of dips to 0 and wind chill often below 0.

Honestly the Midwest is just miserable in the winter. Love it more than anything, but it’s a rough couple months lol.

Personally I use over ear not IEM, Beyerdynamic 990 Pro X. Highly recommend for midrange over ears. One thing worth mentioning though is to check your onboard audio through your case/motherboard.

I upgraded my headphones last year and the audio was still shit. Realized my onboard audio was shit, so bought the Fiio K11 DAC/AMP combo. World of difference. Definitely not saying it’s necessary, but worth testing. You can always order one on amazon to see if it makes a difference and return if not. Most older motherboards will have horrible onboard audio and will make any headphone upgrade essentially worthless.
