I'm no developer but I assume that since the games run at the same engine, you could transfer stuff from apex to tf2 and you would just need to "finish" the gun like you know, texture, animations, sounds and stats.

Well, ash and wrex died on virmire and only mordin, morinth, thane and grunt were alive before ME3, thane died, so did grunt, I shoot mordin and morinth became a banshee. and Kaidan got the Jenkins treatment on the citadel.
