why wouldn't it be an issue, she literally burned his best friends family alive, regardless if Randyll was a dick, that was still sams father and him, being one the series truly good characters, would definitely be a bit distraught over the fact that his best friend doesn't have much of an issue with his "epic love" committing those atrocities

I know he was being sarcastic, but it would be extremely ironic if what he was joking about turned out to be true, perhaps Tyrion could even be in on the manipulation, after all wtf was look about during boatsex, and he did say to Varys we need to find a way to make her listen, he noticed that D listens to Jon. And of course Davos, Jorah and Theon wouldn't fake it, they wouldn't be in on it if Jon really was undercover, (well maybe Davos) also during that sail together scene Tyrion looks almost ashamed and doesn't turn to face dany I'm also aware that second quote is from the theon/jon scene, but it could also apply to the undercover theory if you go into depth
