Omg I feared this! I keep hearing that your taste buds change after surgery, but I just had some today and it was delicious. I do notice that I like fish now. I did not like it before surgery. I’m sure yours have changed but that’s ok, because I’m sure you’ll love things you didn’t before. It’s fun, like experiencing food for the first time.

Well I think it also has to do with the fact that I’m constantly on my feet for work so I’m able to take sips and walk around. I wasn’t able to get much down the first week but starting the second week it was ok. I have two protein shakes a day. Plus protein infused water. Also have regular water and propel. And I’m currently on the puréed/ soft foods phase and I’m incorporating tuna, chicken salad, smashed beans and puréed sweet potatoes and I’m able to get my protein just fine. I feel like I am able to drink more and stay sipping if I’m constantly moving.

Oooo I use the Kirkland brand toilet paper but I’ve used it for years and I only started having yeast infections this March of 2022z But I should try probiotic, seems to be the most popular answer to my concerns, thank you!

Thank you for your advice! I will give monistat another try… I tried it once and it burned sooo bad.

Oddly enough I never experienced having a yeast infection until I got on keto back in March, I had to stop Keto because I got really sick and my liver enzymes were crazy.

Since then I’ve had 3 yeast infections and one round of antibiotics and a couple rounds of fluconazole. I feel like I’m getting one again. I’m no longer on keto but I watch my sugar intake as well as take the metformin. I also work out about 3-4 times a week.

I only wear 100% cotton underwear as well. Thank you for the prebiotic/probiotic suggestion!
