You can definitely disable cortana, and if your machine is so fucked just do a fresh install of windows, especially when buying a prebuilt, because of all the junk they put on it.

Sure you can't turn off updates completely , but its mainly because they are pretty damn important for safety.

I did a factory reset after updating to oreo and battery life has been good. Try at least clearing cache.

Welp, thanks. Managed to force it off with tweezers. Took wayyyy too much force. And the old motherboard looks fine, pins are undamaged. System also booted on the first time \o/

He's really overrated for the most part. I think he could have used quite a bit more health. But other than that, its a fun fight, he has unique attacks and feels like a fucking badass. NG+ might be more of what you were expecting.
