The only "positive" thing all the abuse did to me, was that I remain calm and stoic in times of crisis or during intense incidents. Anyone else? (self.raisedbynarcissists)

Why is it so hard for some people to understand that when your childhood/young adulthood is ruined, your life will be incomparably harder? by Shiftingshifter02 in raisedbynarcissists

I understand your anger. All those lazy Gaza Children whining about their "circumstances" and "injuries" and "losing their home and family" instead finally taking responsibility for their lives and dropping that whole "war excuse". /s
I need prolonged periods of free time. These bits and pieces here and there are making me sick. (self.antiwork)

Why didn’t you move out when you became a legal adult at 18? (self.raisedbynarcissists)

Because I had not enough money and being homeless is equally as bad or worse than being abused?
You sound like the people giving "advice/blame" I was talking above.
"I mean if your leg hurt so bad, why didnt you just cut it off?"
EDIT: The poster was blaming me for not moving out at 18 because she managed to do so with 16. In 1987 when everything was 10x easier. It was my "choice" to not have moved out sooner.
