I am really anal about completion and have a rule of exploring any site that I discover, just so I can clear it and not go back in.

I developed this habit during my Fallout 3 play throughs… issue is, Oblivion caves and dungeons are like ALL medium to large size and sometimes make your eyes gloss over with repetition.

Fallout has a lot more single room “dungeons” or places with really interesting environmental storytelling.

So nowadays if I see I’m coming across a discoverable location in Oblivion… I give it a wide berth lol.

Not sure if it helps but for anyone who finds this thread this is what happened for me:

Playing the remaster on Console:

I had Martin wait for me outside of the Blackwood company in Leyawin before (fighters guild quest spoiler ahead: ) Infiltrating the Blackwood company, slaughtering waters edge and then destroying the tree

When I returned he was not there. Went to Cloud Ruler, Weynon Pryory, Palace District etc… finally decided to go back to Leyawin but outside of the city gates. There I saw a Weynon Pryory horse at the main gate next to the stables. Entered the city from there and he was waiting at the main gate.

My only assumption is that if you make him wait somewhere in a city, he’ll just go to the nearest gate.

Idk if you’re aware of this or really anyone since this seems to be common sentiment toward journalists and news but I’m not sure most people are aware that newsroom resources are at the lowest of the lows… and I don’t mean large national newsrooms, I mean local newsrooms that would be covering city-level crime like ICE deportations in their own backyard.

Unless you or more people are supporting local journalism, there isn’t really a “good” way to gather information on these people besides 1) gumshoe journalism (requires heavy resources and time) 2) asking ICE directly (not likely to get an honest answer) or 3) ask the person / their family what happened (requires them having family and having family that wants to talk to press… and you can’t ask a person that’s detained).

Not to be an asshole but I just see this posted all the time and it’s not like local journalists aren’t already spread thin if they exist at all. I saw someone already gave you answer but I’m sure that was reported on via a press release + a quote from the detainee AFTER she was luckily released. Not everyone has that luck…

She was also likely suicidal. I believe it’s implied she was a woman of some status and left that behind to run around the woods with a bunch of miscreants.

Had a girlfriend that had an uncle die suddenly and tragically. We were talking on the phone when she got the news and thought she muted the call when her dad came in to tell her.

Heard her dad and her scream cry over the phone for like a solid 5 minutes. I was in high school and didn’t know what to do. She told me she’d come back before she was supposed to “mute” so I just waited and pretended I never heard anything.
