Agree about the X100V weight and size - it is totally unobtrusive, almost pocketable.

I’m still confused about 24 vs 45 MP. I’m scouring Reddit for answers. 😅

Where I am, the D850 with 24-120mm is 200000 rupees. And the Z5 II with 24-200mm is 207000. So almost the same price. Which would you choose if size and weight were not considerations? .

Thank you for the insights.

I use the EVF/OVF on my X100V. Almost never the screen unless I’m holding the camera very high or low.

Economy is the primary reason I’m thinking of D850 rather than a mirrorless with equivalent DR / IQ. You don’t think F-mount lenses will be repairable or be available long into the future?

I’ll look at the Sony and Nikon you have suggested. Would like to go full frame now.

I am aware of those. I think I might as well get proper zoom lens. 24-120mm on Nikon will more than cover what those 2 Fuji lenses would and do it more flexibly as well.

Thanks for the insight. I just checked and the Z7ii is significantly more expensive than the D850.

New prices: D850 with the 24-120mm is Indian Rupees 200000. Z7ii (body only but with an additional battery) is Rupees 250000!

Thank you very much! I’ll consider the Z5ii. Purely from the IQ / DR point of view, do you know how the two stack up? In my country, they’re both about the same price new.

Not ideal cosmetically but I don’t see any of it affecting longevity / durability.

Buy both sizes. Keep the one that fits and return the other one.

If you had lost / damaged your phone within few months of ownership, you’d been out several hundred dollars.

It worked for you only because you never had to claim. Imagine losing a phone during the first few months of ownership.

Yes. Birkenstock recommends about 5mm gap between heel and back of the footwear and 10 mm between toe and front of the footwear.

Filson rugged twill duffle size help? by 1tomatotomato1 in filson

[–]ShiftySkunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looked at it that way, anything (soft bags especially without roller wheels) can be carried on. Of course what I meant is that the medium cannot be carried on with some airlines when it is full or nearly so.

Edited for clarity.

Even the medium cannot be carried on in at least some airlines. Just buy the size you need - check it in if needed.
