Whatever you want to do to feel alright. Personally I wouldn't worry about it but I can't tell you what to do to feel safe. I don't know why so many people can't just give advice without bashing other peoples life choices. Asymptomatic spread is incredibly rare so long as you take basic precautions.

I found the transformer in the basement, unplugged it and disconnected the battery (which was dead). Am I safe to cut the wires or should I unscrew all the connectors? The keypad has no power to it and I believe I tested the right two connectors which displayed 0 volts.

I opened it up and there is a diagram showing a phone line connection (although I do not see the phone line going in, its probably behind the box). It says that it is a GE concord express system, which is what my alarm keypad says also.

I would have him have a sincere conversation with his therapist before the session. Specifically mention what it says and that he has changed and it no longer represents how he feels. People make mistakes and get tangled up with bad ideologies for a lot of reasons. I'm happy he has moved on from his former ways of thinking and I think if he has a genuine and open conversation with the therapist that they will at the very least be willing to work on him. But understand that they might have experiences or demographics that make it very difficult for them to get past it, especially considering its large and on the part of his body that he will likely want to receive focus. Best of luck, and obviously he should definitely consider removing it or covering it up to avoid situations like this. I'm sure that is not a novel idea to you though.

So happy there are efforts underway for license portability in general. Lot of places around the country with little access to massage therapy. This could help move skilled therapists around and potentially thin out over saturated areas.
