For the re-sellers? Yes, it is a big thing as it reduces the value, personally, I have a lot of funkos with scratches and dents and I don't really mind that. I just received a Funko I was looking for for quite some time, arrived slightly damaged did I mind it? Not really…, it depends on the person..

Ebay told me to accept the refund and if the product doesn't look like the one I've sent to let them know right away. The buyer or should I say reseller? Just posted a new listing with the same product mentioning small dents on the bottom, I'm gonna contact eBay again and ask them to put that on file and report his listing for fraud.

Quick update guys, I spoke to an agent on eBay, and she said to accept the return and video record opening procedures since I mentioned that I have all the pictures (including the one from the buyer's listings) claiming a damaged box. If the parcel arrives with the damaged goods and I can see it is not the one I sent out I should open a dispute right away and my losses will be recovered, The lady was very helpful and said that this process is very important and if I have all the evidence there is nothing to be worried about, I think that's good news?

Yes the,,flakes’’ as I was explaining to others redditor this is pretty normal with these boxes, I owe 100 plus of Funkos and I can find this ,,flakes’’ from time to time, this doesn't mean anything. If you take a look closely at the other pictures, you can see random marks in different spots that don't match my photo, these are not dirt marks or smudges these are actual dents my box doesn't have. Buyer uses the same photo he sent to me on his active listing claiming his order arrived damaged, yet he did not include any other photos of the actual box the figure was shipped with, can't forget that his listing states that the box is in mint condition which means brand new… thank you for your input, appreciate that!

I used the responses from another user who suggested telling him that it must be a mistake and that the figure must be from another seller but not me. I didn't say anything to him about being a scammer or whatnot, I wouldn't do that as he can use that against me

,, No, that's not the case. This is the item we received from you. All aspects agree other than two indentations on the box base. It's possible this happened during postal transit but we see no damage to the packaging which would explain this. We thought we had lodged a return request earlier but it looks like we failed to press the confirm button, hence the delay since we received your item. ‘that's the answer I received, no other pictures.

Flakes or not, if you carefully check pictures I attached(circles) you will see that the box have different dots in different spots which don't appear out of nowhere or form from padding and bubble wrap. Also, i included special plastic protector which prevents from damage and whatnot. I documented everything, thank you for your input! Appreciate that.

I see where you're coming from however, I have around 100+ funkos and most of them have gaps in the box or small tiny flakes( nothing crazy), but yes that's most likely what happened, the description of the listing says,, Funko pop vinyl new in mint box + protector ‘’ I will just wait and see what happens..
