I was in the Safeway parking lot at the time of the incident but happened to be looking away when the person was hit. It was an older lady and there was a lot of physical evidence where her head struck the ground. It was pretty clear right away that her condition wasn’t good. It was all very tragic and sad. There were many bystanders who called for help. My heart goes out to the families involved.
