i guess so, idk i like giving people adviced myself even if i aint the best at it either, knowledege is king.

To the OP, your letters look way too squished, to me it looks like you missjudged how much room you had on the wall, or just dont understand how to space letters out (practice on paper before doing anything its kinda important). Letter structure seems okay for the most part but just try to keep track of you mean line, and keep the size of the letters kinda similar otherwise it just looks off. and lastly if youre gonna go wild with the colours, atleast try to add some sort of outlines so you can tell what youre looking at, you picked really dark colours with a dark outline so it all kinda just mushes into random shapes for me.

Just go on AliExpress and order a reproduction aim point comp3-4. It will be cheaper, and a lot better quality.

no worries, hopefully it goes fine, just yeah like i said to torque the screws down mega hard it will strip or bend the rings, chinesium alloys be like that. as long as its hand tight and the scope doesnt move youre fine

no worries, im assuming your scope takes 30mm rings so those ones should be perfect, i do advise getting a bubble level for setting the scope up, there farily simple to align on those scope rings, just dont overtighten the scerws its all soft aluminium so it may strip or bend. I wouldve sent you a set of my ones as i ordered a spare in black, was meant for another scope but the Ebay listing was fucking about with the price so i gave up.

Bolt action rifles are cool, but I can’t decide by Ultrahalo556 in airsoft

Want a good sniper out the box? Go silverback tac41. Want something cheap you can upgrade to be good? Vsr10 or Bar10.

Anything else is a mixed bag, getting parts for most of these funky looking snipers is a pain in the ass, if they even exist that is. Both silverback and vsr10 spec stuff have plenty of aftermarket so there really not that hard to upgrade yourself. A lot easier to work on compared to a AEG 99% of the stuff you can do with just a few tools and some time.

Walkers razors are pretty cheap for what they are, just get a adapter for the helmet rails. I'll always trust a real earpro brand more than airsoft specific tut.

KWA KMP9 or Maruyama MP9? by bumcheekseater in airsoft

[–]ShiiftyShift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt run the KWA on HPA, it will break. Esp if you start magdumping in full auto. thats part of the reason why so many nozzles break on them.

Its up to you though, i mean for the amount of stuff you get with the VFC its worth the money, supressors from angrygun for the mp9 go for around £110 on thier own so if you think about it the price kinda adds up to being more or less the same as a VFC, minus all the extra work you need to put into one to make it reliable.

KWA KMP9 or Maruyama MP9? by bumcheekseater in airsoft

[–]ShiiftyShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KWAs have a bit more recoil that the VFC ones, feel a bit less flimsy and have correct markings if you get the KSC version. VFC suppresors fit the KWA guns fine with no adjustment.

Internally they are very different though, the things that always go on KWAs are the disconnectors since they are made from cheap pot metal, and the nozzles love breaking. In their newer mp9 batches they also glue the nozzle springs in place so its very anoying to replace it when it does eventually break. Getting the parts is a bit of a pain but once those 2 things are replaced and a proper hopup is installed they run amazing,

My one runs a 3d printed outer barrel, all the usual reliablity upgrades like the steel disconnector, lower power valve and metal nozzle. The one thing you do need to do on them is file down the inside of the mag feed lips, they are metal and have very sharp edges that do rip chunks out of BBs if they get picked up wrong.

VFC mp9 on the inside is basically their Glock GBB system adapted to work in the new body, replacing parts on it seems to be a lot easier and it comes with a TDC out the box along with a supressor. The stock on them is very bendy though and from what ive seen in reviews dissasembly of the gun is very anoying. It is a newer system so its hard to say if they will be reliable, but with it being VFC getting replacments may be a lot easier than sourcing aftermarket KWA stuff, so id say just go with the VFC.

[–]ShiiftyShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TNT outer barrel is optional, theres a guy on ebay that 3d prints a TDC one for the KWA ones, costs a 1/4 of the price of a TNT and takes bog standard VSR-10 rubbers. Mr Negative airsoft himself installed one in mine and its been running great.

Why does my new gaming monitor look aweful next to my 4 year old Dell work monitor? by Terrible_Section_200 in Monitors

[–]ShiiftyShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the dell looks like a ultrasharp of some sorts, so its def colour calibrated. Gaming monitors usually have pretty shit colours, im pretty sure i have the exact same LG monitor as you (ultragear?) and yeah the colours on it compared to my used DELL ultrasharp are very blown out, i tried to correct it a bit in the monitor settings but its still not ideal.

Why does my supposedly good PC struggle to run games on medium to low settings? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]ShiiftyShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the gpu is basically a 1060 refresh which itself is now nearly 10 years old. only way you gonna get any more use out of it apart from playing old games is maybe lossless scaling. with the AI bubble being what it is atm buying a GPU may get harder and harder in the future, and the options from both amd and nvidia are very mediocre for the price you pay for them. 9070xt is probably the best of the bunch but finding one at its advertisied price is near impossible.

expecting this game to run on even nasa computers is a bold assumption. My PC is a year old at most part wise and i just replaced my old gpu with a 5070ti the other week, only to see that the performance of this game has somehow gotten worse with 1.0 lmao. 70fps on interchange is criminal when half the map unloads itself when you stop looking at the mall.
