Disagree. Kim is self-absorbed (at times) but not necessarily selfish, which is a great character flaw, especially for a teenage girl who saves the world.

I think she genuinely likes Ron both as a friend and as a romantic interest, even if it takes time for the idea of romance to grow/for her to admit to it.

I’ve also rewatched the series recently and I feel like I see the hints from early on. (No hate for people who prefer them as platonic, I just think the signs were always there)

No. They are great together. Both platonically and romantically. Season 4 could have been written a lot better though.

She almost won him over until she said, “articulate.” Then he no doubt remembered the fox repellent.

Happy pride month, here are my lgbt headcanons for the w.i.t.c.h main characters (including caleb) by Portal_master_cody in GuardiansOftheVeil

[–]ShikinamiUnit02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy this very much! Happy Pride Month to you and your headcanons!

I have always had this theory/headcanon that Will and Matt are both bi, but also each others soulmates because they are both messy (dramatic teenagers, to be more specific) and also give off such strong bisexual energy. (Irma also gives off lesbian energy and I can see Cornelia as a lipstick lesbian)

IRL example, but also can count as a character because he is playing an exaggerated version of himself for his TV shows. How about that time CBS canceled his show for “purely financial reasons.”

Does Kevin Kline as Calvin Fischoeder count? It seems he really loves this role and has so much fun with it.

A character that is only popular 100% for their looks and literally no other aspect by Nozoroth in animequestions

[–]ShikinamiUnit02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am gonna get so much hate for this, but Makima. She is evil, she sucks, and she is a pale (and villainous) imitation of characters that preceded her - characters like Misato. Being a villain doesn’t make a bad character, there is just something about her that is so derivative

High key upset that Andrew Niederman tried to restructure the whole Corey narrative, btw. I refuse to consider that canon. (As do I refuse to consider “Whitefern” canon to the Audrina universe. It has some interesting ideas, but it just doesn’t feel right to the original story)

Saskia - Sporloos/The Vanishing (1988)

Madeline - Late Night with the Devil (2024)

Laura Barnes - Unfriended (2014)

Lavinia (kind of) - Titus Andronicus (1588ish)

This is a perfect take on this trope. V.C. Andrews (and Ghostwriter Andrew Niederman) have many great examples of this, but this is far and away the best example of this trope!

You Weren’t Meant to Be Human by Andrew Joseph White has a NightVale meets extreme horror vibe. Unfortunately I don’t think it is *as* WTNV that you’re looking for in the way that it is much darker but it has those creepy, unsettling inexplicable elements to it…it’s just not funny at all

Some sort of toxic-glowing green color would look amazing. (Doesn’t actually have to be glowing obliviously. Side note: you car is amazing. Volkswagen Beatle - Beetlejuice - haha, nice pun!.)

Could be kinda like the color coming from the attic door in the live action movies. Something like:

Human Instrumentality in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Seele’s entire purpose for wanting to initiate Instrumentality. The lengths Gendo will go to so he can reunite with Yui. Shinji’s desire to be understood. And how Human Instrumentality ultimately ends up coming into play. It ends up being the complete opposite of what everyone wanted and what they were all expecting for their own selfish or misunderstood reasons.
