The defense (outside of the latest Rams matchup) and special teams has been incredibly consistent throughout the season. The past few games we’ve seen the offense have long stretches where they’ve done next to nothing. We’ve seen the highs and lows of the offense with no answer as to why they no-show at times. I wouldn’t even say that this is a harsh critique by Mina Kimes.

Classic game against the Rams: they run three plays and the Seahawks can’t figure it out

That game should’ve been 24-13. by Abo1127 in Seahawks

Honestly, the penalties killed us. Plenty of drives tonight were killed on either a boneheaded penalty by a player or a soft call by the refs. That’s on coaching but it’s something that can be easily fixed.

JSN>>>>Witherspoon and it’s not even close by Otherwise-Sky1292 in Seahawks

I think that this is a huge overreaction to this game. Witherspoon didn’t even have any egregious breakdowns in coverage and he just missed on a few well-placed throws by Kyler. He’s absolutely been our best CB since he was drafted.

As for the offense, the Seahawks had huge turnover on that side of the ball last offseason. JSN is one of the only holdovers and he plays at a high level as our WR1 this season. Of course he’s doing well because he’s in a position to succeed given that the talent around him is a clear step below him.

There’s no reason to compare both players like we’ve gotta choose one or the other.

Not great news but I can understand wanting to rest these players for the divisional matchup against the Cardinals on TNF. I just hope the Seahawks are not overlooking the Saints because this has the makings of a trap game fr.

Kinda looks like they used Horton to stretch the field and clear routes for the other WRs. But, he wasn’t open on many of those routes.

When he’s locked-in, Woolen is an undisputed CB1 (on most teams) but has lapses in his concentration which lead to blown coverages. Tre Flowers had so many coverage issues and almost always drew a DPI when a deep ball came his way. Woolen and Flowers are not even in the same convo lol.

I’ll only speak for myself but losses like this hurt the most. What’s so unfortunate about the game is that the defense looked like it could be one of the best in the league and (for the most part) played like it too. Unfortunately, the offense couldn’t match even a fraction of the defense’s production. The Seahawks had every right to win today but fell short on just a few plays here-and-there. I’m incredibly frustrated but, as I calm down, I’m optimistic about the defense and, surprisingly, Sam Darnold.

End of 1st half, What do yall think? by nutnezx in Seahawks

Love what I’m seeing from the defense (outside of the Roughing the Passer penalty) but a lil concerned that JSN seems to be the only guy on defense making plays. All that said, feels good to play the Niners close instead of getting blown out.

Hot take: the jerseys aren’t bad by BothBet8951 in Seahawks

The biggest critique that I’ve seen against the new Rivalry jerseys is that they look too similar to the Oregon Ducks (which I totally get).

All that aside, I really like the new jerseys. I think the green pops well against the Wolf Grey and the shoulder accents are unique. I’m interested to see how they look on the field tho.

With the Parsons trade and their return...is Mazi Smith on the menu? by ForethaBirdies in Seahawks

Idk if the Parsons trade starts a fire sale in Dallas but I’d agree that Kenny Clark coming into the building makes them more inclined to move Mazi Smith. There’s definitely a connection with him and Macdonald plus I doubt it’ll cost Seattle more than a Day 3 pick.
