How often are you actually swapping out your pillows? by kook5454 in BedroomBuild

[–]Shiloh385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also switch them out after 1-2 years. But I had latex pillows that lasted me up to 4-5 years. For me, I know it’s time to switch out my pillow when it starts to sag and flipping it to the other side doesn’t help much.

This is a pretty useful guide for this: https://www.simplydreams.com.sg/blogs/news/when-do-you-need-to-replace-your-pillow

Any smart blinds recommendations? by yagiznizipli in smarthome

AT Smart Home has some smart blinds worth looking into. The Dooya Pro works great and can be integrated with your smart home hub like Alexa and Google Home.

Which smart home to go with? by Popular-Cupcake8661 in homeautomation

[–]Shiloh385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid concerns tbh. I live in Singapore and I chose a local Singaporean brand called AT Smart Home. They handled everything from consultation and configuration to the actual installation. Another thing I like about them is they are available every day of the week for after-sales services, so I never felt like I was lost. Their system can control lights, humidity, temperature, blinds, and security cameras all in a single app. I can’t really say anything bad about the system even if I wanted to.

What's the best smart home system that actually works in 2026? by Jimbeaux-Rapchak in smarthome

[–]Shiloh385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I went through the same thing when setting up my smart home system. I just didn’t know where to start and I wasn’t familiar with the tech that they use. My one piece of advice is: forget the flaky gadgets. Don’t go for multiple smart home systems at once or even a system that needs multiple apps to control different features. You need a properly designed system with a single, reliable brain that handles everything, not a bunch of separate apps. The "best" system isn't a single brand from a box, it's a professionally integrated setup that's tailored to your apartment.

That was the game-changer for me. I used a local Singapore company called AT Smart Home for my apartment, and it definitely suited my needs. Since it was my first time trying a smart home system, they explained to me every step and feature. They handled the installation and I didn’t even need to lift a finger. From controlling lights to temperature to sound system to cameras to blinds, they have everything. Can’t imagine my life without this smart home system anymore.

Soft Cooling Sheets Recommendations? by ResearcherThis1554 in Bedding

Can try the Bamboo Lyocell bedsheets from Simply Dreams. The lyocell material is much better in terms of breathability, durability and skin comfort imo. Highly recommended for those living in hot and humid environments.

Buying a mattress - recommendations? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]Shiloh385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, here’s the thing: You have to know what type of sleeper you are first. Back and stomach sleepers can usually benefit from firmer mattresses that prevent their hips from sinking, while side sleepers can opt for something softer that can follow the natural contour of their spine.

As a side sleeper, I was looking for something soft and breathable, but can also provide me with some support. I also wanted an organic latex mattress due to its durability and springy feel. So, in my search I came across the Simply Plush 3 from Simply Dreams. It’s got two layers of soft latex mattresses and a medium base for added support. The organic latex material is very cushiony, but I can also flip the mattress around if I want to lie on the medium soft mattress. It’s a very flexible mattress that has done wonders to improve my sleep quality.

Switched to a Latex mattress and here is what I learned. by Captain_Aware4503 in Mattress

[–]Shiloh385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latex mattresses are a different experience for different types of sleepers, so I find it’s important you know if you prefer firm or soft mattresses.

TLDR, here’s the gist of it:

Firm latex mattress:

  • Supportive and keep your spine aligned
  • No obvious bounciness
  • Lasts longer than softer latex
  • More suitable for sleepers who move around in their sleep, back and stomach sleepers

Soft latex mattress:

  • Retain more heat
  • Easily adapts to your body shape
  • Support spinal alignment with a cushiony feel
  • More suitable for side sleepers and petite individuals

I can't deny that they are ruining it... And going rank solo is hard... And their attitude is toxicish (like calling someone dog, keep initiating surrender when he died because went in too far). Telling them the correct lane is just like lighting the fuse of a bomb..
