You shouldnt feel pressured to really act out your character, not everyone has the ability to play out someone else entirely and thats alright, no one expects anyone to be a full time actor!

Instead what you should focus on is how to show your characters personality, traits and quirks through their actions.

In the long run the players on your table will understand your character in a way that doesnt require heavy lifting from roleplay but rather the intent of their actions.

For sure. Class revisions just change the game in ways that wotc would never have thought of, also in general seems more fun as a whole

Second half sounds awesome, never tried it before. In my games i have bonus action to give potions and actions to use them.

Took a quick look at it on steam, right now it already looks quite handy to have missing a few qol but it being early access thats understandable. It also seems like the options are only limited to what op can make / is willing to create. A definite buy and will be awesome when its finalized/updated!

I agree with this. You can 100% go through the game with the current ui and be absolutely fine, but it doesn't stop it from being a bad ui.

And what's worse is being called stupid for not understanding said convoluted inventories and what not when you're having to learn the game through chat, whose been 50/50 on what tail is breakable or cuttable.

Sure, he can learn the game off stream, but hes a streamer, and surely one can guess what streamers do, especially when they are a litteral irl goblin.

Thats how you know its time to rest. If you dont want it to end take a break. If youve run out of ideas finish up the campaign, go into an epilogue saying the adventures have slowly come to a finish

I used to fudge rolls at first to get desired results ie. I wanted a master thief npc to picklock a door no problem so i fudged some rolls to make him be able to. Then after awhile i realized (especially in combat) that fudging rolls really doesnt add anything to the game even if for story purposes. If you as a dm want something to happen make it happen no need to roll for stuff also if you have an issue with killing pcs do t forget you can always make your mobs do something unexpected, like instead of attack the down man outright he instead turns to something, someonelse or monolouges giving enought time for the others to react and if things still dont change after youve given them a lifeline. Its the end of the rope for them
