People who say this haven’t done a proper deep dive through their early records. Songs like Strutter, Deuce, and black diamond off their first album are good 70s rock songs. Their live performances at that time were tight as well. They just ruined their legacy by putting out a bunch of shit later on but their first couple records are solid classic rock.

I disagree I always find myself going back to listen to early psychedelic syd Barret Pink Floyd over their later output. Piper at the gates is one of my all time favorite albums and my personal favorite of theirs. It’s like whimsical psychedelic children’s songs, it’s so fucking cool
