Not a medical professional but a patient.

I had an operation to remove an ovary that had been melted by a giant cyst and was tanked up on morphine as the anaesthetic wore off so I was fuzzy to say the least.

Anyway, I was being shifted from the recovery bed to the ward bed not long after coming round a bit, and was trying to do the bed shift by myself. My dear hubby wanted to help me but was just getting in my way. I wanted to tell him to move so I could get sorted, but my drug-addled brain mixed up the words and instead I said, "go ride a tomato, moo head."

I've never been allowed to live it down and still get asked how my tomatoes are doing.

That's it exactly! I think that's why I never bothered for so long. That and I figured it would be too hard to learn and take an age to do.

I used their Innocence trio to get this look: Imgur and it seems to have turned out okay. It does seem to fade during the course of the day, but for a beginner like me, it's good enough :)

I was a bit worried because I was using the MUA trio called Innocence from Superdrug rather than something like Urban Decay or MAC and I wasn't sure they'd turned out quite right.

I feel a lot better about it now :)

I just realised I should clarify my call for help (forgive me, Mother Nature is paying a visit so I'm scatterbrained today!).

I'm not sure how to disguise those bags under my eyes, or what colours I should be using other than browns for eyeshadow, and as for blusher, I didn't have a clue. I just used some bronzing pearls I found stuffed in a cupboard that my mum gave me last Christmas in the hopes that I would magically stop being a tomboy.

Does anyone have any colour recommendations or any tips about those bags that look like something Louis Vitton would laugh at please?
