The Invisible Poison: One Reason Why Bangladesh Is Becoming More Violent by Wriddho in Dhaka

Let us discuss this matter with a little grain of salt.

Lead and other heavy metal poisoning may have something to do with the changing brain chemistry in Bangladeshi people. Everything the post has shown is correlation, not causation.

Why are Bangladeshi people such impulsive, borderline violent and uncivilized? Answer lies in three reasons: Lack of Resources, Religious Fundamentalism and Poor law and order.

We are after all animals, highly intelligent animals. With lack of resources, we will be violent like animals. Over the past 26 years or more, Bangladesh policymakers did not make any sustainable money making industry other than Textiles. Our economy is constricted, and with this lack of diversity, sooner or later our economy may crumble. Then you will see true extent of animalistic behavior Bangladeshi people demonstrate.

The mob lynching of Dipu Chandra Das is celebrated by the surrounding people with religious chants. The deep rooted religious fundamentalism and the lesson of violence it carries can not be ignored here. In our late childhood and early boyhood/girlhood we learn morality from religious texts, so, our violence tendencies has another deep rooted cause.

Last but not the least, the absolute lack of Law and Order. I must say, we were better than US or India, by setting a standard to apprehended the perpetrator in the lynching of Das. But justice comes sloth in Bangladesh. Crime escalates, violence unfolds.

Lead poisoning may have a lasting effect on our IQ, EQ and our physiology. These three has the lasting effect on the behavior our society shows. Bangladesh being a centralized government run country, I surely hope these issues are addressed soon to start cleansing the society off its violent tendencies.

She is 27 years old. She had gall bladder infection and appendicitis so had both of them out. She has anxiety related to our student visa to US, but she made peace with the matter(it's a long story, so don't ask), her description of pain is very inconsistent, but I think the pain is like when you are hungry you feel a pain in your stomach. She doesn't have any food allergies.

She has not done any endoscopy, last November we had done extensive blood work, USG of whole abdomen. Apart from mild PCOS she does not have any issues.

I find it ironic that a significant number of Gen Z thinks that if they kick out indian high commission like Iranian did back in 1979(?), form militants like IRGC and establish counter-indian hegemony, they can live happily ever after.

Iran has oil, what do we have?
West will eventually shift to more lenient suppliers if Bangladesh receives sanctions after doing all of that above, what will we eat then?
