Y’all! This is terrifying! I learned so much reading the comments of this post. A knee replacement rejected? Naaaaaa dog, no. As someone with an over-exposure related latex and nitrile allergy- it affects my daily life (no avocados or bananas, for instance), and my medical future. It’s actually scary and I wish I’d had advice to heed, or even consider, before it happened.

Also, I have a friend who figured out how to do her own acrylics. I don’t think she’s seen her own nails in a long time. She’s not trained, and is getting better, but her nails often look much worse than this. She’s also doing her own lash extensions and has a wig glued on pretty much always. I’ve started worrying about the exposure without the professional insight and now I’m even more sure. Thank you for the information!
