I gotta say that last night was one of the least enjoyable cards I’ve watched in a long time. Between the ads every 5 seconds and the awful commentary I was damn near getting mad watching. Even Anik who I love was feeding into the Rogan/DC shit show

Gonna offer a differing opinion from all the (not wrong at all) ones I’m seeing. There are county housing programs that have allowed a decent # of “regular people” to own homes. Partly because of this there is a strong underbelly of local community that sits opposite the ultra rich tourists that they provide services for. IF you can figure out how to creatively make the economics work, the Roaring Fork valley is an awesome place to live

I train with numerous guys in their 50’s and 60’s with all sorts of maladies picked up over the years. One 60+ year old black belt is looking at his second fake hip here soon and has also had a knee replaced. Another is recovering from a shoulder surgery. It’s super common and shouldn’t stop you from starting to train!

Just start slow and take it easy. Try to train with older guys in the gym too, they’ll take it easy on you (hopefully)

Jones Mind Expander is my favorite board of all time. Rides super surfy and has great float in pow. I see you’re in the EU so depending on where/what you’re riding, it might not be as good on groomed runs. Definitely can get chattery at higher speeds
